Cable Assembler

Join a growing aerospace and defense manufacturing team as a Wire Harness Assembler and help build high-quality cable and harness assemblies used in critical applications. Location: Centennial, CO

Pay: $24-34/hr

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri

The Wire Harness Assembler is responsible for assembling, soldering, crimping, and testing wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to IPC standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical documentation while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and manufacturing instructions
• Verify traveler documentation, part numbers, revisions, and quantities before beginning work
• Inspect materials for defects, damage, and nonconformities
• Cut, strip, de-jacket, and prepare cables according to specifications
• Load connectors, install labels, heat shrink tubing, and ty-wraps
• Perform soldering, crimping, wire termination, and electromechanical assembly tasks
• Assemble harnesses on assembly boards using detailed work instructions
• Operate stripping machines and utilize hand and mechanical tools safely
• Follow IPC-620, Mil-Spec, and customer workmanship standards
• Complete production documentation and sign travelers at each operation
• Properly identify, package, and handle materials and finished products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in cable assembly, wire harness assembly, electronic assembly, or related manufacturing environments
• Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Ability to follow established manufacturing procedures and safety requirements

• IPC-620, IPC-610, or J-STD-001 knowledge or certification
• Aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing experience
• Experience with electromechanical assembly processes
• Knowledge of wire preparation, labeling, heat shrink installation, and connector assembly
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, CO.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
