Elementary Special Education Teacher - Loveland, OH

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in grades 3–4. This full-time, onsite contract position is located in the Greater Cincinnati, OH area and focuses on delivering specialized instruction and fostering student growth in line with each learner’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Your expertise will help young learners access their education, navigate challenges, and achieve academic and social milestones. Collaborate daily with colleagues, families, and school-based teams to create and maintain a nurturing, inclusive environment that empowers every child.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Certification required
• Previous experience as an Elementary Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
• In-depth understanding of implementing and adapting IEPs
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of educators, specialists, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for encouraging learning and development among elementary-age students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, specialized instruction to students in grades 3–4 according to their IEPs
• Design and adapt lesson plans, materials, and strategies to accommodate individual needs
• Work alongside classroom teachers and related services staff to deliver integrated support
• Track student progress, document data, and assist in preparing IEP reports
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians
• Contribute to the school-based team in meetings, planning, and ongoing professional growth
• Foster a welcoming, culturally sensitive classroom atmosphere
