Key Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license required
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades 9–12
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to deliver accommodations and modifications
• Assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Advocate for students and contribute to a positive school culture
