Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Per Diem Opportunity

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team, working closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver High-Quality care and treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions.

About the Role:

• As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and providing patient education.

• You will work with patients of various ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.

• You will maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.

• You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans

• Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed physical therapists

• Provide patient education to promote independence and self-care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment plans, progress, and outcomes

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Participate in patient assessments, progress reports, and care conferences
  *Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current PTA certification in the state of Wisconsin

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
