Patient Care Associate | Full Time
Heritage Imaging is seeking a compassionate, customer-focused Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support MRI and CT operations while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you will work closely with technologists, patients, physicians, and healthcare facilities to facilitate a safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging environment.

About the Role
The Patient Care Assistant will assist with patient preparation, support imaging procedures, and help ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Location: Durango, Colorado @ Common Spirit Mercy Medical
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Monday thru Thursday
Pay Range: $20-25/hour
What You'll Do
- Welcome and support patients throughout their imaging visit.
- Explain procedures and help ensure a positive patient experience.
- Assist with patient check-in, positioning, and transport.
- Support MRI and CT workflows under the direction of imaging technologists.
- Maintain mobile imaging unit readiness and organization.
- Follow safety protocols and site-specific procedures.
- Adhere to MRI safety, patient screening, and HIPAA requirements.
- Support patient safety and emergency response procedures.
- Follow company policies, facility guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- 1 year of MA experience preferred.
- Experience with IV starts or willingness to learn.
- Experience in healthcare, patient care, medical office, or customer service environments preferred.
- Experience working with MRI, CT, radiology, or related healthcare services is a plus.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office 365.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility needs.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
