We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RD Registered Dietician to join our team at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Akron, OH. About the Role

As a RD Registered Dietician, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized diets for our residents. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop personalized nutrition plans, manage dietary restrictions, and provide education to our residents and their families.

RD Registered Dietician Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized diets for residents in accordance with their nutritional needs and dietary restrictions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update resident care plans
• Conduct diet assessments and provide recommendations for dietary changes
• Educate residents, families, and staff on proper nutrition and meal planning
• Monitor resident progress and adjust plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident diets and progress
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

RD Registered Dietician Qualifications

• Registered Dietician in the state of Ohio
• Prior experience in long term care as a Dietician preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
