Construction Safety Coordinator - New Hope MN

We’re hiring a Construction Safety Coordinator to join a well-established mechanical contractor based in New Hope, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction safety while supporting both field and office teams across active project sites.

This role will work closely with the Safety Department and field personnel to promote safe work practices, conduct jobsite inspections, support training, and help ensure company policies and applicable safety regulations are followed.

What You'll be Doing:

• Support the development and enforcement of company safety programs and site-specific safety plans
• Conduct weekly safety inspections across active construction jobsites
• Provide safety guidance, coaching, and support to field and office employees
• Help ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal safety regulations
• Assist with safety training and new hire orientations
• Help develop and update company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations
• Support reporting and monitoring of workers’ compensation, property, and general liability claims
• Work closely with the Safety Department and field teams to identify and address safety concerns

Who We're Looking For:

• EHS-related undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifying construction safety experience/certification
• Candidates with an EHS-related minor and 2+ years of primarily construction safety experience will be considered
• CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification is another qualifying pathway
• HVAC, mechanical, or construction safety program experience preferred
• Entry-to-intermediate knowledge of State and Federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
• OSHA 30 certification preferred, or ability to complete within the first 10 days of employment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable working with both field and office personnel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
