Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy interventions, including airway clearance therapies, bronchodilator treatments, aerosolized medications, and participation in ventilator management as ordered.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings and alarms in collaboration with the care team.
- Assess respiratory status, monitor patient response to therapy, and review data such as ABGs as applicable.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory care equipment; follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Document care activities in the electronic medical record and communicate changes to the team.
- Educate patients and families about therapies, equipment, and care plans.

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license issued by the Georgia Composite Medical Board (NBRC RRT credential required).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the respiratory therapy specialty.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a 12x3 rotation.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to site policies and protocols.
