Responsibilities

Oncology Physical Therapist 2, Part-time  

At Clovis Community Medical Center, our rehabilitation team partners with patients throughout their cancer journey, helping them regain function, manage treatment-related conditions and improve quality of life. As an Oncology Physical Therapist, you will provide specialized care for patients affected by cancer and its treatments, with a strong focus on lymphedema management and post-surgical recovery. This role is ideal for a therapist with oncology rehabilitation experience or a strong therapy background interested in advancing their expertise in lymphedema care. 

In this role, you will evaluate and treat oncology patients through comprehensive assessments, individualized care plans and evidence-based physical therapy interventions. You will support patients experiencing lymphedema and other cancer-related impairments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and provide education that promotes recovery and self-management. You'll also contribute to clinical excellence through care coordination, supervision of rehabilitation support staff, student mentorship and quality improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required

• PT - State of California Physical Therapist License required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Lymphedema therapy certification strongly preferred
