Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of CT experience and Epic charting proficiency for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting.
Details
- Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting with adult acute care and outpatient populations
- Performs CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions with and without contrast
- Uses Philips CT equipment (required) along with GE, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS systems
- Epic charting required
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Call requirement of 2 to 3 shifts per 4-week schedule
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of CT experience required
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Teaching hospital and Level I/II Trauma experience preferred
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Experience starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
- Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
Additional Information
- Performs CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal specialties
- Black scrubs required
- Maximum of 5 RTO days permitted during assignment
- Accepts local candidates within 75 miles at local rate
- Former permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
