Medical Assistant - Corporate Health (F/T Days Southfork) - Now Hiring

Find your calling at Mercy!Medical Assistants (MA) in the medical office setting supports providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The MA may assist with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The MA functions within their defined scope of practice (based on office type clinic/HOD), under supervision, and in alignment with Mercy's mission and standards of care.Position Details:

Monday - Friday

No weekends or holidays!

Corporate Health MA Overview:

• The MA will assess and process patients; perform physical preparations for physician; assist physician as needed.
• Provide office procedures such as urine collections, pulmonary function tests, audiograms, breath alcohol tests, etc.
• Preferred Skills:

• Customer service oriented

Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

Medical Assistant:

• • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.

Certified Medical Assistant:

• • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
