This 36-week in-person Speech Language Pathologist position supports students in schools near the location. It offers competitive compensation and benefits while enabling meaningful impact on student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply school-based speech-language therapy services, aligning with IEP goals and state/district guidelines.

  • Complete evaluations, interpret results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, evaluation reports, and Medicaid billing requirements.

  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment by delivering services across classrooms, therapy rooms, and other educational settings within district sites.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field from an accredited program.

  • Current Oregon SLP licensure (required).

  • 0+ years of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).

  • Ability to work in-person across multiple school/district settings within Grant County, OR.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to manage a school-based caseload and maintain accurate, timely documentation.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout school buildings/classrooms.

  • Ability to lift/carry typical therapy materials as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • State or national certification such as ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent (preferred).

  • Experience in a school setting and familiarity with IEP processes (preferred).
