#2672 Senior Systems Engineer (SE40) Part-Time

Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities:Part-Time position supporting the TESS Task Order filling the Senior Systems Engineer position supporting Air Defense Electronic Protection (ADEP) with limited travel. Duties include: system engineering, test analysis, and operation and maintenance of test equipment. The position is a hybrid remote position with office visits located at Port Hueneme, CA.Position Duties:• Either Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree and minimum of 12 years experienceor no degree with a minimum of 20 years technical experience supporting Navy systems experience.• Experience with the operation and maintenance of the Electronic Test Generator (ETG) including experience with using theETG to develop plots and test scenarios specifically related to ADEP events.• Expertise in electronic attack equipment and capabilities, to include modes and effective ranges to aid in test planning.• Experience with development of ADEP plans in manned raids planning and execution, to include aircraft plot developmentand crew coordination.• Proficiency in software programs used to develop aircraft plots and run tables.• Liaison with ATSO/NAWC WD ISO Electronic Test Generator support for CSSQT/DT/OT events.• Familiarity with both the Port Hueneme and Point Mugu range processes and testing procedures.• Participate and support test event planning meetings and reviews such as Mission Control Panels, Range ReadinessReviews, and Mission Readiness Reviews and other meetings.• Familiarity and experience with the capabilities and limitations of ETG, Multi-Band Radar Return Range Simulator(MIRRoRS), and Advanced Radar Environment Simulator (ARES).• Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation and able to travel extensively.• Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance.• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.• Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports.Preferred Skills:• Navy A/C SchoolMandatory Physical Requirements:• None.Level/Salary Range: $50.48/hr – $60.10/hr Position FT/PT or Seasonal: Part Time
