Hospital Cook – Hiring ASAP!

Are you an experienced cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals from scratch? We're hiring a Hospital Cook to join our culinary team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to food quality, safety, and exceptional service.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to recipes and production schedules
- Ensure meals meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstations
- Properly store and label food items
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professionalism
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience cooking from scratch is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent attention to detail and personal cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Hospital or healthcare food service experience is a plus
Schedule & Pay:
- Weekday Shifts (varies):
- 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every Other Weekend:
- Saturday & Sunday: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Breaks:
- 1-hour meal break
- Two paid 15-minute breaks
- Pay: $18.00/hour
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass onsite screenings, including:
- TB screening
- 12-panel drug screen
- Vaccination review/verification
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
