Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Supervises Staff: Manages, hires, trains, and schedules social work staff and interns.
Administrative: Establishes departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement standards & oversees the social services department budget and resource allocation.

Enforces Regulations: Ensures the facility complies with federal (CMS), state, and local social service mandates & Serves as the primary department contact during state health inspections and surveys
Maintains Documentation: Maintains & audits medical charts to ensure psychosocial documentation meets strict legal standards.

Collaboration: Participates in care planning and other meetings, including Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI).
Care & Mediation: Steps in resolving severe, complex family grievances or resident crises. Provides supportive care as needed to supplement social work needs
Community Liaison: Builds relationships with local hospitals, mental health organizations, and community resources to streamline admissions and discharges.

Does This Sound Like You?

Licensed to work within the State of West Virginia as a LSW Licensed Social Worker
Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
High level understanding of leadership, customer service and clinical competency
Leadership experience in a long-term care setting
Prior experience as a Director of Social Services/Social Work Director
