About the Role:

As a Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and that our staff are equipped to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support our mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to our nursing team, including staff development, coaching, and mentoring

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support high-quality patient care and outcomes

• Conduct regular rounds to assess quality of care, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as necessary

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

• Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment

• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards and accreditation requirements

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar leadership role

• Current RN license and certification in the state of Texas

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with electronic medical records and other relevant technology
