$12.50 - $15.75 depending on experience!

Job Summary:

Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeper / Janitor / Laundry Aide to join our exciting and fast paced team! Our housekeepers provide daily housekeeping services to maintain the Center's safety, sanitation, and attractive condition.

Essential Functions:

• Follows and completes cleaning schedules
• Observes proper infection control standards
• Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
• Linen sorting, washing, folding
• Presses or hand irons articles as required
• Inspects linen for wear and tear 
• Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area
• Operates washers and dryers 
• Cleans dryer lint traps
• Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness 
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties
• Acts as a Mandatory Reporter

• Ability to take initiative and show good judgment
• Demonstrates organizational skills
• Work independently and as a team member
• Displays a positive attitude, and dependability
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly
