Job Summary:

As a Dietary Cook at Evercare of Calhoun, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals. In this part-time position, you will work closely with our eam to provide exceptional dining experiences that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards

• Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents

• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure accurate and timely food service

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation and service

• Participate in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
