CLEAN ROOM TECHNICIAN

CLEAN ROOM TECHNICIAN

This role is for second shift. The mandatory work hours are 3:30PM- 12:00AM with overtime opportunity.

Job Overview:

  In a clean room environment, process components through cleaning solutions in accordance with written procedures.

 Work with cleaning solvents and acids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move parts/components through various cleaning stations.
• Lift baskets of parts from ground into cleaning tanks. 
• Scrub parts with brushes. 
• Work with chemical solvents. 
• Perform visual inspection of parts to verify cleanliness. 
• Add chemical/solvents/acids to cleaning vats.
• Move chemicals from storage to pre-clean area. 
• Keep similar parts for various customers separated for work order and quality tracking purposes. 
• Package and seal cleaned parts to maintain cleanliness.
• Collect samples of cleaned parts in accordance with written instructions.

Capabilities:

• Experience in construction or manufacturing industries.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements for all AIA documentation.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  Bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs.  Repetitive scrubbing motions.  Standing for long periods of time.

 Wearing personal protective equipment, i.e., rubber gloves, face shield, protective apron, etc.   Working with and around chemicals.  Wearing clean room clothing.

Equipment to be Used:

Hand tools, cleaning tanks, hand truck, pallet jack, personal protective equipment, sample collection hardware.
