Manufacturing Team Lead
Location: Durham, NC
Shift: 3rd | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $24 - $ 26 per hour

Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Team Lead
- Lead and support Production Associates throughout the shift
- Serve as a working leader by operating equipment and assisting in production areas Assign daily responsibilities and monitor workflow to achieve production goals
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operating procedures
- Train, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance
- Maintain quality standards and ensure production processes meet specifications
- Coordinate equipment repairs with Maintenance and follow through to completion
- Monitor materials, tools, and supplies to keep production running efficiently
- Conduct shift handoff meetings and communicate key information to incoming teams
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support implementation of new equipment and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements for the Manufacturing Team Lead
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a positive leadership attitude
Physical Requirements for the Manufacturing Team Lead
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels
Schedule Expectations
This position works 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Team Leads are expected to stay beyond their scheduled shift when operational needs require additional leadership support. Overtime may be required to ensure production goals, staffing needs, safety standards, and shift transitions are successfully managed.
