Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
New graduates accepted with Level II clinical experience; Level I observation experience alone is not sufficient
LTC or rehabilitation experience required
Current BLS certification required
Experience performing OT evaluations and developing individualized plans of care
Strong knowledge of ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
Experience monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
Ability to provide patient and caregiver education and participate in care conferences
Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Ability to supervise and support OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as applicable
