Business Development Manager — Hybrid

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Territory: Clients across all 50 states
Base salary: $55,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience, plus potential performance bonuses

Ayers Partners is looking for a relationship driven sales professional to grow our client partnerships. In this hybrid role, you’ll connect with business leaders, learn where they need support, and introduce the Ayers Partners services that fit their goals.

Our services span Talent Solutions, HR Solutions, Payroll + HCM, MSP + VMS, and Business Launch. We support clients across all 50 states, giving you the opportunity to build relationships well beyond the Sterling Heights area.

What you’ll do

• Find and develop new business opportunities across the United States.
• Speak with owners, executives, HR leaders, and operations teams to understand their workforce and business needs.
• Present Ayers Partners’ services clearly and recommend solutions that address each client’s priorities.
• Manage the sales process from initial outreach through discovery, proposals, follow-up, and closing.
• Build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities to expand those partnerships.
• Work with Ayers Partners’ service teams to support a smooth transition from sale to delivery.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in business development, outside sales, or consultative B2B sales.
• Confidence starting conversations, building relationships, and closing new business.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• An interest in selling workforce or business services. Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, payroll, or related services is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Sterling Heights and engage with clients nationwide.
