Our client is seeking an experienced Panel Fabrication / Assembly Technician to join their growing team in Fort Worth, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience building, wiring, troubleshooting, and assembling electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Build and assemble electrical control panels from layout through final completion.
  • Identify electrical components both physically and from engineering drawings.
  • Perform panel wiring, wire termination, labeling, and component installation.
  • Troubleshoot panel wiring and electrical circuits.
  • Troubleshoot basic electro-mechanical devices and equipment.
  • Use hand tools, tape measures, speed squares, and small power tools.
  • Use electrical test equipment, including multimeters and insulation testers.
  • Perform soldering of components when required.
  • Assist with the assembly and fabrication of other products as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all applicable workplace safety procedures and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting quality and production expectations.


Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Panel Builder, Controls Technician, Automation Technician, Electrical Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with electrical panel assembly, component layout, and wiring methods.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Normal color vision required for electrical wiring and component identification.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Electrical, Electronics Technology, Automation, Controls, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of UL 508, NEMA standards, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Experience working with industrial automation and control systems.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, electrical assembly, or industrial controls environment.
