The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment position supports prescription medication preparation, fulfillment, and distribution for a leading healthcare organization. This is a full-time contractor position with opportunities to work in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $16.50/hr for Trainee
• Pay Rate: $17.50/hr for Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Shift Options

• Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday — 3:30 PM–1:30 AM
• Wednesday–Saturday — 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Friday–Monday — 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription medications using the pharmacy fulfillment system.
• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving insurance claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
• Enter member demographic and prescription information accurately into the data processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or processing direction.
• Assist with inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians.
• Support the preparation and distribution of drug products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration and certification as required by the state of operation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment.
• Ability to handle prescription exceptions, insurance billing issues, and escalated member concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with prescription fulfillment systems.
• Experience resolving pharmacy insurance claim rejects.
• Experience with pharmacy billing and prescription processing.
• Experience communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
