Part-Time Store Manager

We are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and organized Part-Time Store Manager to lead shop operations two days a week. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day store operations, manage sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster a welcoming environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a flexible schedule, loves customer interaction, and has an eye for retail display or crafting.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations: Open and close the store according to standard operating procedures, manage cash drawers, and handle daily register balancing.
• Customer Service: Greet visitors, assist customers in selecting beads/jewelry components, and provide helpful advice for craft or jewelry-making projects.
• Sales & Inventory: Process sales transactions accurately via POS system, stock shelves, assist with inventory counts, and unpack/tag new merchandise.
• Visual Merchandising: Keep store displays organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked to reflect current coastal trends and seasonal inventory.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shop floor and checkout area.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous retail, customer service, or assistant management experience preferred.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, customer-focused attitude.
• Detail-Oriented: Basic math skills for handling transactions, balancing cash drawers, and tracking inventory.
• Crafting Knowledge (Plus): A passion for jewelry-making, beads, or crafts is a plus, but not required—a willingness to learn is key!
• Reliability: Strong punctuality and dependability to manage shifts independently.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 5-hour shifts and lift lightweight boxes (up to 20–25 lbs) as needed.
