About this job
Job Description
At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a compliance-minded Property Manager to support operations across two sister affordable housing communities on Cape Cod, based in Barnstable with additional coverage in South Yarmouth.
This role is ideal for someone who already knows LIHTC compliance and can step in with minimal ramp-up. You’ll work directly under an experienced Senior Property Manager who oversees both sites and needs a strong second to take real ownership of recertifications, income verifications, and audit-ready files. There’s also clear runway for growth into a Property Manager title for the right candidate.
If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.
Responsibilities
- Own LIHTC compliance workflows including annual recertifications, income verification, and maintaining audit-ready resident files
- Support day-to-day resident and office operations at an affordable portfolio of roughly 150+ units across two nearby communities
- Coordinate with the Senior Property Manager to track deadlines, organize waitlists, and keep compliance calendars on schedule
- Assist with leasing, move-ins, and resident communication, including explaining rent changes tied to recertifications
- Use property management software (Yardi preferred) to maintain accurate resident, leasing, and compliance records
Qualifications
- Hands-on LIHTC (tax credit) compliance experience, including recertifications and file preparation for reviews or audits
- Experience in an affordable housing office role such as Assistant Property Manager, Occupancy Specialist, Compliance Specialist, or affordable-focused Leasing
- Ability to work independently and take ownership without extensive job training
- Section 8 experience (project-based or voucher) strongly preferred
- TCS, COS, or similar affordable housing certification preferred
Perks
- Total compensation range of up to $70,000 to $75,000
- Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO
- Strong time-off offering in year one (including company holidays and additional paid time off)
- Opportunity to grow into a Property Manager title while working under an experienced Senior Property Manager
- Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
