MACHINE OPERATOR – TEMP-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

 Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Pay: $17.00/hour
• Employment: Temp-to-Hire
• Position: Machine Operator (Lamination)

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Receive job tickets and/or verbal instructions.
• Locate jobs in the holding area or from the collator.
• Read and understand job tickets, proofs, and verbal instructions; load the station accordingly.
• Follow first piece and lamination test procedures.
• Maintain quality procedures and accurate records.
• Follow proper plate handling and sheet-guidance methods to prevent scratches.
• Maintain established quality standards.
• Use cotton gloves to protect plates from fingerprints.
• Properly identify loads with the corresponding job number(s).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
• Enter accurate information into the M.I.S. system as required.
• Maintain consistent production results according to scheduled requirements.
• Notify the Shift Supervisor of any Burke System problems or malfunctions.

Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
• Constant lateral arm movement, except during breaks and lunch.
• Ability to continuously move a wheeled cart.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs. every 15 minutes.
• Good communication skills and reasonable proficiency in reading and speaking English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic technical knowledge.
• Previous Machine Operator experience preferred.
