Job Description
The Automotive Lube and Tire Technician performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services. Maintains records on regular customers, following up periodically with telephone, mail or personal reminders. Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil. Replaces oil and air filters. Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary. Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed. Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.

Responsibilities
Perform tire installations, rotations, alignments, and repairs with precision.
Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage.
Provide automotive diagnostics related to tire performance and alignment issues.
Oil changes and other basic automotive repair tasks as needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with your advisor regarding their customer vehicle needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire and lube technology.
Experience
Previous experience in tire and lube service or automotive repair is preferred but not required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes is a plus.
Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
