Driver Services Coordinator
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday, 12pm (Noon) - 9pm
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Advisor/Driver Coordinator will provide phone and email support with the company’s drivers addressing inquiries/issues and offering solutions.
- This job requires the ability to work from Noon to 9PM, Monday - Friday. Shift differential pay is applied on hours worked from 6pm to 9pm.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers via telephone or email to provide support and information on truck deliveries.
- Fields driver questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to other appropriate terminal staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve driver problems and concerns.
- Maintains and detailed records of driver interactions, complaints, or comments.
- Takes detailed notes on driver accident calls and forwards to appropriate parties.
- Work with other departments and companies to resolve driver issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
