Description:
Responsible for the operation x-ray and computed tomography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least two modalities on a regular basis. This position is represented by RCHEA.
Requirements:
Day Shift, Fri, Sat, Sun 0600 - 1830 Siemens CT scanner, must do both x-ray and CT, Epic.
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
- Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor?s): Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Three years' technical experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required
- Must be certified in two additional advanced modalities ? Computed Tomography(CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) or Sonography(S): Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification: Required
