CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both X-ray and CT imaging and will work with a Siemens CT scanner. This position requires the ability to operate efficiently within the Epic EMR system.
Responsibilities- Perform X-ray examinations and computed tomography scans
- Obtain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic EMR
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and adhere to regulatory guidelines
- Education:
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent: Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Experience:
- Three years' of technical experience: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required
- Certification in two additional advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography (S): Preferred
This position requires availability for day shifts from Tuesday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
