Job Summary: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Associate?s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employees performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
