Specialty: CT Technologist
Shift: Third shift, 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off; rotation begins Thursday and runs through Wednesday
Thursday and Monday–Wednesday Hours: 8:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
Friday–Sunday Hours: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Weekend Requirements: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the scheduled 7-day rotation
Facility: 74-bed Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
Required Experience: More than 2 years of CT experience using Canon/Toshiba equipment
Traveler Experience: First-time travelers considered upon review
Required Certifications: BLS and ARRT(CT)
Required Skills: General CT principles and practices, peripheral IV starts, contrast administration, patient transport, and the ability to work independently
Required Equipment Experience: Canon/Toshiba CT scanners and Medrad Stellant injectors
Technology/Equipment: 80-slice Canon/Toshiba CT scanner; experience with 40-slice equipment is also beneficial
Patient Population: Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients requiring CT services
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Documentation System: EPIC; experience required
Independent Coverage: Technologist works independently in CT with an X-ray Technologist available onsite for support
Additional Responsibilities: Transport patients to and from CT examinations
