CDL A Local Delivery Driver

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Duties

• Safely operate a flat bed truck to transport pallets and crates to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, making timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is essential.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Previous experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is beneficial.
