Delivery Truck Driver

Job Description Summary:
The Meal Delivery Driver will work in conjunction with the Door to Door Food Delivery program. They will load approximately 50 to 60 meals daily at the site and deliver them to different sites amongst the surrounding area. Loading takes place as early as 5am and routes are based on assignments and will be different each day.

We are looking for a Truck Driver for the project which is rolling out in February 2026. This is an active/ on going recruitment until we have a main driver and a back up driver. 

The applicant *MUST* have an active State driver license.

Working hours: 8-10 hours, Mon - Thurs 

Expected starting time : 5am.

Location of work: Ulster County

Required Skills/Abilities & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Valid United States driver's license.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, experience using liftgate
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch immediately
• Inspect & Clean truck before and after trip

Compensation:

Pay rate starts from $25/ hr base on the qualification

Meals on the Bus is a distribution service providers. We manage meals delivery across Massachusetts State. A driver is expected to handle meal box delivery to home/ resident premises or bulk deliveries of shelf stable product. We use software and tools to manage the delivery routes daily and drivers will be using it in order to accomplish tasks. There'll be a training provided for drivers.
