About the Role:
L & Y Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Company Class B Driver to join our team in North Bergen, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Operate Class B commercial motor vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations throughout New Jersey , New York and Pennsylvania
- Transport freight and cargo to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate logs including Hours of Service (HOS) .
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securement of freight
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic and safety laws
Requirements:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
