Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Work in the CT Tech unit at a medical campus with 96 inpatient beds, six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, labor and delivery with special care nursery, a 20-bay infusion clinic, and a 12-bed ICU/acuity adaptable unit
- Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Participates in call rotation
- Uses GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Travelers are first to float
Requirements
- ARRT certification required, along with Radiography and Cardiology-CT Tech qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Current BLS certification required
- ODH Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- Canon and/or GE CT experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- Performs and completes diagnostic radiology procedures following OhioHealth and ARRT guidelines
- Prepares patients for exams and positions them appropriately per department policy
- Ensures radiation safety for both operator and patient
- Charcoal grey scrubs required
- Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible for the position
- Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of the assignment
- Attendance policy: more than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
- Previous employees must have a 366-day separation from facility employment before returning as a traveler
- PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
