DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position is responsible for administering multiple programs to ensure accuracy, fairness, and compliance across all cases. Work utilizes SAP and Excel for processing, reporting, and tracking activities. As FMLA Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:
- Request Processing: Review FMLA and LWOP (leave without pay) requests and analyze required forms and documentation to provide accurate and timely approval or disapproval
- Time Advisor: Complete processing actions to ensure absences are calculated and coded correctly, review reports, research errors, and prepare corrections
- Program Coordination: Oversee and review requests made through leave programs including additional sick family leave, leave donation program, and the non-work-related modified duty program
- Case Investigation: Examine suspicious medicals including those with altered dates and prepare reports of findings
- Employee Guidance: Provide direction to employees and supervisors on leave rules and documentation requirements
- Record Monitoring: Track deadlines, usage, and entitlement periods across all assigned programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to four days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
