In this pivotal position, you'll develop and maintain critical financial reporting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and play a key role in evaluating financial decisions that impact the company’s growth and valuation. Your expertise will help transition financial responsibilities in-house and optimize reporting processes, making you an integral part of the company’s success story.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Progressive experience in accounting and/or finance

Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and accounting principles

Experience with tax planning and working with CPA or external accounting firms

Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-financial leaders

Demonstrated discretion with confidential information

Hands-on approach with the ability to build and improve financial processes

CPA designation or extensive public accounting background

Experience supporting valuation, ownership transition, or M&A initiatives

Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, accountants, and outside advisors

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in privately held or owner-operated businesses

Knowledge of legal and entity structure considerations

Previous involvement in transitioning external financial responsibilities internally

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Progressive experience in a similar role, ideally within private or owner-operated companies

CPA certification highly preferred

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in a hands-on environment and support strategic growth initiatives

Willingness to coordinate with legal and financial professionals on company structure and valuation matters

Strong analytical and organizational skills
