Physical Therapist - School Setting in Ossining, NY

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential physical therapy services to students in a supportive middle/high school setting. This is a contract-based opportunity for a dedicated physical therapist to work closely with two medically fragile students, helping them reach their full potential in the school environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate approach to supporting students with complex needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted physical therapy sessions for two students, three times per week (30 minutes each session)
• Collaborate with classroom and support staff to integrate therapy goals within daily school activities
• Document progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in meetings regarding student care
• Educate staff and families on strategies to facilitate mobility, safety, and participation in the school environment
• Ensure adherence to all required documentation and regulatory guidelines
