Software Platforms Development Engineer

LHH is seeking a Software Platforms Development Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with an established organization in the automotive industry. This position will focus on developing and supporting embedded platform software for mechatronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C and AUTOSAR BSW.
• Debug and test software on embedded hardware.
• Support software requirements and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain build and automation toolchains.
• Investigate software defects and implement changes.
• Support automotive software safety and cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOSAR BSW and embedded C.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE.
• Familiarity with ISO 21434 and automotive cybersecurity.
• Experience with embedded debugging and testing.
• Knowledge of scripting, build systems, compilers, version control, and configuration management.

Salary: $140,000-$180,000 annually.
