Fabrication Associate - Groveport, OH

Pay: $19.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Occasional Saturdays and overtime available

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Fabrication Associate for a leading industrial supply company. This is a hands-on role for candidates with manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, or industrial experience.

What You'll Do

• Move and organize pipe throughout the shop and yard
• Assemble customer pipe orders
• Operate forklifts and fabrication equipment
• Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe
• Perform quality inspections using tape measures and gauges
• Follow safety, production, and shipping procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED

• 6-8 months of recent manufacturing, fabrication, or machinery experience

• Experience with equipment such as:- Band saws

  • Pipe threaders
  • Automatic welding machines
  • Plasma cutting equipment
  • Roll groove machines

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure

• Experience using gauges for quality checks

• 3-6 months of forklift experience

• Basic computer skills

• Strong attention to safety and quality

• Ability to lift, move, and handle pipe materials

Preferred Backgrounds
