Controller

Due to company growth, our client is adding an Assistant Controller / Controller to work directly alongside the CFO. This newly created position will support accounting, finance, payroll, HR, banking, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while helping build processes and scale the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with the CFO to support the Accounting and Finance department. 

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. 

• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting. 

• Support payroll, HR administration, and banking functions. 

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. 

• Support audits, compliance efforts, and process improvements. 

• Collaborate with project and operational teams. 

• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives. 

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of accounting experience; experience with payroll, HR support, banking, month-end close, and full-cycle GL accounting. 

Preferred: CPA; Master's degree; public accounting experience; construction, manufacturing, or project-based accounting experience; exposure to costing, WIP reporting, and job costing.

Compensation & Benefits 

• $125,000 - $150,000 base salary
