We are looking for an HR Generalist to support employee benefits and related human resources programs in St. Paul, Minnesota. This position plays a key role in administering benefit offerings, guiding employees through leave and continuation coverage processes, and helping maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a solid understanding of benefits administration within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Administer day-to-day employee benefit programs, ensuring enrollments, updates, and changes are processed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate benefits communication and serve as a resource for employees who have questions about plan options, coverage, and eligibility.
• Manage COBRA-related activities, including notifications, tracking, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee leave of absence administration by guiding employees and managers through requests, required paperwork, and status updates.
• Maintain benefit records and prepare compliance-related documentation and reports to support audits and internal review needs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve benefit issues and improve the employee experience.
• Monitor benefits processes for accuracy, policy alignment, and adherence to federal and state requirements.
• Support broader HR generalist functions connected to compensation, benefits coordination, and employee support as needed.

• Experience administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee support.

• Working knowledge of COBRA, leave of absence processes, and benefits compliance standards.

• Familiarity with compensation and benefits practices within a human resources environment.

• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Bachelor Degree required

• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain benefits information to employees and managers professionally.

• Proficiency in handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
