These positions play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of product while meeting production goals. AM String Packer:
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am until 5:00pm (Moving to a rotating schedule, 12 hour shifts in the near future)
Responsibilities: This position performs the packaging operation of string cheeses, monitoring machinery and ensuring quality of the product. Sets up and sanitizes machines before operation and dismantles and cleans them afterward. Packages and weighs product, operates various machines, records production data, and maintains cleanliness of the work area. Involves steady standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, repetitive motion, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Rate: $19.00/hr

PM Makeroom Operator:

Shift: 3rd shift, rotating schedule, 7:00pm–7:00am, 4-3-3 schedule

Responsibilities: Assists with cheese production by monitoring equipment and testing pH/acid levels. Performs tasks like knitting, milling, and boxing cheese. Must work independently and as part of a team in a hot, humid environment. Requires frequent lifting and physical activity.

Rate: $20.50/hr

AM Makeroom Operator:
Shift: 1st shift, rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 7:00am–7:00pm
Responsibilities: Supports the cheesemaking process by monitoring machines, cooker temperatures, and cheese pH/acid levels. Duties include milling, mixing, boxing cheese, and general housekeeping. Involves steady standing, lifting up to 63 lbs, and working in a hot, humid environment.
Rate: $19.00/hr
