Die Setter (79357)

Lapeer-based plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking Experienced Die Setter to join their team manufacturing plastic interiors such as door panels, consoles, glove compartments.  These are 1st shift positions, Mon-Fri, 5A-3P (some overtime may be required on Fridays).   Pay is based on experience, starting at $22 per hour. Must have minimum of 5 years of die setter experience. Candidates must submit a complete up-to-date resume for consideration.   Job Description: Support the molding department by performing die setter duties to meet production requirements. Qualifications: 5 years of recent experience performing die set-ups, changes and troubleshooting in plastic injection molding machines.  Demonstrate knowledge of a wide variety of tools, material variations and quality standards. Must be computer literate.  Knowledge of Lean manufacturing. Responsibilities: * Responsible for all mold changes per schedule along with emergency changes. * Responsible for changing any die inserts.
