Low Voltage Estimator

The Low Voltage Estimator is responsible for estimating the cost of commercial projects involving the
installation and design of Structured Cabling, Smart Home Solutions, Audio Visual, Access Control,
Intrusion Alarm, and CCTV systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail,
and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors.

Essential Job Duties
• Perform estimating and design work, including job take-offs, project engineering, and confirming
the accuracy of the final Bill of Materials.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Interpret plans and specifications to prepare estimates for commercial Audio Visual, Structured
Cabling, Smart Home Solutions, and Security installation projects.
• Meet with Project Managers to conduct job hand-off meetings for projects won.
• Provide technical support related to projects throughout their duration, as needed.
• Follow all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct oneself professionally and maintain a safe work environment; perform other duties as
assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1–2 years of experience in low voltage estimating, project engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with productivity software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of network architecture, with the ability to integrate Audio Visual, Structured
Cabling, Smart Home Solutions, Intrusion Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers.
