Job Description
Quality Technician
At Charter Next Generation (CNG), every employee is an owner, earning equity shares from day one. As a Quality Technician, you'll operate and monitor production lines that turn raw resin into film used in packaging that protects food, keeps medicine safe, and cuts down on waste. You'll work alongside a close-knit team, with hands-on training and real opportunities to grow.
Position Schedule
- Up to 90 days assignment
- Monday-Friday 6 hour day shift (can be flexible to your schedule)
Position Duties
- Understands visual defects of products
- Can perform visual checks of products
- Understands physical tests and equipment
- Can use all lab equipment and perform physical tests
- Can follow equipment procedures
- Has basic understanding of products and customer requirements
- Verify and apply customer requirements and specifications
- Complete paperwork and file appropriately
- Understands retain samples and filing requirements
- Must be able to perform tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Comply with all applicable Standards (BRC, ISO) and Standard Operating Procedures
- Communication of Non-comp and scrap materials
- Conduct EASE audits as assigned
Position Qualifications
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
