Responsibilities
- Operate radiography and computed tomography (CT) equipment to acquire diagnostic images
- Perform radiographic procedures and CT examinations with professional technique and safety
- Competently handle at least two imaging modalities on a regular basis
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; assist during mobile imaging as needed
- Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast agents as required; ensure patient safety and monitor for adverse reactions
- Test defibrillator and verify crash cart readiness; maintain imaging equipment and safety standards
- Document procedures in the Epic EMR or equivalent system and maintain accurate patient records
- Support department goals and collaborate with the imaging team to meet operational objectives

Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license valid in the state of practice (California)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- At least two years of recent experience in medical imaging (preferred)
- Education: Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology required; Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting with the ability to perform radiography and CT imaging
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment (per job notes) and ability to work with required clinical protocols
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic EMR) is beneficial
