Job Summary:
The Xray Technologist position is located in a busy hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on patient safety, image quality, and efficient workflow. The candidate will deliver high-quality imaging services across various units and work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekends days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, active BLS (American Heart Association) certification, minimum 2 years recent radiology technician experience, and North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) licensure or willingness to apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance. Candidates must have experience with portables, emergency room, C-arm, and EROR procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital, understanding of electronic medical record systems, and equipment competency is essential.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ER, PICU, NICU, Endoscopy, general X-ray, fluoroscopy, swallow studies, cystograms, VCUGs, urethrograms, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and proficiency in equipment such as GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms and portable units.
- Additional Information: The role requires thorough review and understanding of all equipment with a preceptor, including demonstration of equipment competency before independent operation. Proper communication and adherence to radiation safety protocols are mandatory. Applicants must ensure proper licensure application procedures are followed to expedite licensing and credentialing. Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear gray scrubs.
